Betty Ruth Newberry, 78, of Paragould, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018. She was born February 8, 1940, to Willard and Vernie Boatwright.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald Lee Newberry; son, Gary Lee Newberry; and sister, Flora Mae Vickers.

Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Charlotte and Ray Ashcraft of Paragould, Sheila Newberry of Paragould; brother, Robert Bryson; sister, Mildred Blankenship; grandchildren, Jeremy and Jason McClelland, Joshua Ashcraft; and great-grandchildren, Eli Rudy McClelland and Levi Matthew McClelland.

A graveside service will be on Tuesday, September 11, at 10:00 a.m. at Linwood Cemetery with Bro. Calvin Baldwin officiating.
