Beuna Jones - August 16, 2013 Beuna Ilene Jones, 75 passed away August 16, 2013 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was born April 2, 1938 in Biggers to Dewey and Iva Ellen Jones. She was a member of Newton Street Church of Christ, loved pictures, going to the Senior BEES and playing Bean-Bag Baseball. The joy of her life was spending time with her family. She delighted in the visits from the children.She is survived by her husband, Carl Jones, Sr. of the home: one son Carl (Kathy) Jones, Jr. of Paragould: three brothers, Camuel "Bud" Jones of Walnut Ridge, Ronald Jones of Hoxie and Dewayne Jones of Rockford, IL; four grandchildren, Lisa Spencer, Lori (Justin) Ethridge, Joey Jones and Matthew Cavenar; three great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Ethan Ethridge and Kaleb Lucy.Preceding her in death were her parents; one daughter, Debbie Cavenar and a great-grandson, Landon jones.The family will receive friends 6-8 pm, Monday, August 19, 2013 at Phillips Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11 am, Tuesday, August 20, 2013 in the Center Hill Chapel at Phillips Funeral Home with L. R. Smith officiating. Burial will be at Greene County Memorial Gardens.
