Billy Jack "Cherokee Bill" Miller, 69, of Lafe, passed away on Saturday, January 22. 2022. He was born January 26, 1952, to Marvin and Geneva Miller. Bill loved making Indian artifacts and portraits. He enjoyed bonfires, looking at the stars, and watching old westerns.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jesse Cross; brothers, Stephen Miller, David Miller, Bob Miller, Rick Miller, and Jerry Miller; and sisters, Bonnie Crockett, Yvonne Martin, and Florence Crockett.
Survivors include his wife of 16 1/2 years, Faye Miller; sons, Cody Miller of Nevada, Brice Jones of Nevada, Kenneth Jones of Jonesboro, Ronnie Cross of Wisconsin; daughter, Jenny Cross of Wisconsin; brothers, John Paul Miller, Gary Miller, Edgar Miller, Patrick Miller; sisters, Sharon Hatcher, Mary Wilkerson, Sue Smith; grandchildren, Kaidence Miller, Aiden Miller, Kyle Cross, Breanna Cross, Cheyenne Cross, Tyler Cross; and great-grandson, Marley Cross.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 29, at 11:00 a.m. at Robbs Chapel Baptist Church with Bro. Kim Bridges officiating with a luncheon to follow.
