Billy Gene Smith, 78, of Elizabeth, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022.  Bill was born July 26, 1943, in Paragould, to Ephraim and Dorothy Smith.  Bill enjoyed yard work, fishing with his wife, and hunting with his friends.  Above all, Bill loved his family.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; first wife and mother of his children, Janice Smith; daughter, Debra Faye Smith Sibert; one sister; one brother, Jim Smith; and many uncles and cousins.

Bill leaves behind his wife of 24 ½ years, Sue Smith of the home; son, Carl Gene Smith and his wife, Terri, of Texas; two step-daughters, Kathy Falcon and Cammy Higdon both of Paragould; three grandchildren, Brandy, Kurt and Josh; thirteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  Bill loved you all.

A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 19, at Robb's Chapel.
