Billy Mac Stricklin, father, husband, and retired district insurance manager with Gulf Life Insurance Company, passed from this life into the arms of his Lord and Savior in his home surrounded by his children on the afternoon of August 5th. Born on June 17, 1938, in Paragould, Arkansas, to Bobbie Horton, Bill attended and graduated from Greene County Tech High School. Upon graduation, he entered the Army and continued service through March 31, 1964. Bill was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed playing the guitar. He was a member of Finch Baptist Church in Paragould. He will be remembered for his love of his family and his attention to meeting the needs of those he loved around him.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Stricklin of the home; his parents, Tom and Bobbie Horton of Finch; and great-granddaughter, Genesis Bogan of Paragould.
Survivors include his children, Debbie Bogan (Mike) of Paragould, Jon Stricklin (Natalie) of Paragould; grandchildren, Ashley Bogan of Paragould, Nathan Stricklin of Eugene Oregon; and  great-granddaughters, Noa Stricklin and Prairie Stricklin of Eugene Oregon.
A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 14, at Finch Cemetery with Terry Songer officiating.

The family would like to thank the many caregivers that helped take care of Bill during his final years of life.
