Billy Joe "Frog" Witcher, 72, passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. He was born October 31, 1948, in Walnut Ridge, AR, to Lum and Opal Witcher. Billy worked until retiring after 43 years at Emerson Electric. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, car racing, cooking, and fish fry's with friends. He was a member of Southside Community Church.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jimmy Ray "Tadpole" Witcher; and his dog, Lucky.
Survivors include his significant other, Sue Liles; cousin, Alex Witcher; and a lot of great friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 3, from 12:00 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Charles Stoddard officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Danny Felty, Larry "Frito" Jones, David White, Alex Witcher, Glen Andis, and Randy Gray will serve as pallbearers. The guys at Miss Addie's and Iron Horse will serve as honorary pallbearers.
