Billy Sterl Young, 69, of Paragould, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017. He was born November 17, 1948, to Sterling and Anniece Young. Bill loved hunting and fishing. He enjoyed reading a good book in his spare time.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Joyce.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, James and Kim Young; daughter, Elizabeth Young; brothers, Bob Young and Joe Young; sisters, Wanda George, Linda Kahl, and Debbie Bayird; bonus children, Wendy Long-Beach, Troy Clymer, Tommy Clymer, and Eve Vandehey; and grandchildren, Matthew Carey, Tristan Young, Evan Young, Kaitlyn Young, and Dylan Young.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, from 12 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Terry Huffine officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Heights Cemetery.
