Bobby Gene Watson, 82, of Paragould, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 5th, 2014 surrounded by other family members waiting to receive him. He passed away at the Phil and Flo Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Mr. Watson was born November 4, 1931 in Kennett, Missouri to the late Albert L. and Mrytle Watson. He was an active member of the Center Hill First Baptist church and enjoyed going to yard sales.Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother, Harold Watson.Bobby's survivors include his loving wife of 64 years, Helen G. Watson; three sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Laura Watson, Jeff and Carol Watson, all of Paragould, and Ron and Roslyn Watson of Ash Flat; brothers and sister-in-law, Billy Watson, Don and Freda Watson; sister and brother-in-law, Joann and Tom Harp; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends on January 9 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be January 10 at 1:00 p.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Smith and Rev. Billy Joe Dowdy officiating. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery.Serving as Pallbearers will be Chris Watson, Mike Watson, Don Watson, Jason Owens, David Danaho, and Tom Harp. Honorary Pallbearers will include Gene Prince, Brent Cox, and Jerimie Watson.Lasting Memorials can be made to the Phil and Flo Jones Hospice House.
