Bonnie Sue Yow, 81, of Lake City, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025. She was born September 20, 1943, to Ollie Irwin and Opal Hooker. Bonnie was a lifelong member of New Life Fellowship Church where you could always find her. She loved nothing more than taking care of her family. She was a wonderful cook and in her spare time, she loved gardening.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Thomas Gale Irwin, Dewayne Irwin, Thomas "Buddy" Irwin, Leroy Hooker, and Charles Irwin; sister, Wanda Hale; and granddaughter, Alisha Cashion.

Survivors include her daughter, Marla Johnson (Ricky); granddaughter, Audri Cashion; and great-granddaughter, Alyssa Joyner.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 3, from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Danny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.

Tommy Newman, Jeremy Pyburn, Fredarius Joyner, Keith Lee, Tony Parnell, and Audri Cashion will serve as pallbearers.
