Braiden Alan Sessums, 16, of Paragould, passed away Friday, December 15, 2023.  He was born March 24, 2007, in Jonesboro, to Donnie and Julie Sessums.  Braiden loved drag racing and he could not wait to build his own drag car.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, kayaking, riding side by sides and four wheelers.  Chess was a favorite game of Braiden's.  He was compassionate and had a loving heart.

Braiden was preceded in death by his mother, Julie Sessums; grandmother, Ruby Abbott; and grandfather, David Pryor.

Survivors include his father and step-mother, Donnie and Sherri Sessums; grandparents, Louise Pryor, Butch Sessums, and Jerry Smith; step-brother, Derrick Donnell; step-sisters, Amanda Slayton (Trent) and Kristie Bobo (Kyle); and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 3, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Danny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Knot Cemetery.
