Brenda Sue Turner, 70, of Powhatan, AR, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018. She was born March 9, 1947, to Robert and Eva Schoonover. Brenda enjoyed caring for others in her work as a nurse's aide.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; grandchild, Tiffany Stice; brother, Jerry Schoonover; and sister, JoAnn Brewster.

Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Rhoda and Tim Mansfield of Powhatan, Rhonda Warren of Manila; brothers, Ronnie Schoonover, Pee Wee Schoonover; sisters, Adlean Smith, Vickie Green; and grandchildren, Jacob Lenderman and Ashley Granger.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 14, 2018, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 15, 2018, at 10 a.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hunter Cemetery in Hunter, AR, with Bobby Sanders officiating.

Pallbearers include Tim Mansfield, Danny Lenderman Jr., Jacob Lenderman, James Granger, Adam Granger, and Marcus Nelson.
