Brian Douglas Tucker, aged 67, passed away on January 23, 2025, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born on April 30, 1957, in Rockford, Illinois, Brian was known for his zest for life and his ability to light up a room with his presence.

Brian's career spanned several decades at Emerson Electric, where he not only dedicated himself to his work but also formed lasting friendships and associations.

Outside of work, Brian's passion was shooting pool. He could often be found at the Brown Derby in Kennett with his dad, where he was a formidable opponent. Roller skating was another pastime that Brian thoroughly enjoyed.  Bryan loved pitching horseshoes and he taught Katey to play so they could play doubles in the tournaments at the Emerson Picnic.

Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Dean and Virginia Tucker; brother, Bradley Dean Tucker; and mother-in-law, Maxine Orick.

Survivors include his wife, Katey Orick Tucker; children, Shelly Renee Tucker, Kevin Orick (Katelyn), and Kelly McCain (Michael); brothers, Kenneth W. Tucker (Karen) and Kyle William Tucker (Lisa); grandchildren, Landon Tucker, Blayne Pillow, Jayden Hughes, Gabriella Orick, Kaely Orick, Kaleb Orick, and Karson Orick; and one great-grandson, Oliver Pillow.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 31, from 4:00 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home.  The celebration of Brian's life will begin at 6:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Doug Clinton officiating.
