Caleb Allan McCollum, passed away on September 22, 2026, he was born on January 21, 2003. Caleb loved computers, technology, and video games. He also had a huge heart for animals, especially cats. He loved to joke around and had a sense of humor that the people closest to him knew well. He enjoyed a good debate and could definitely hold his own when he had an opinion about something. Caleb was very proud of his work and especially proud of earning his security clearance. It was an accomplishment that meant a lot to him.

More than anything, Caleb loved his family. He and his brother, Jacob, shared an incredibly close bond. They weren’t just brothers; they were best friends, and their relationship was something very special to both of them.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Pierce; his father, Tony Mcollum; his step-father, Craig Pierce; and his step-mother, Kim McCollum. He is also survived by his brother, Jacob McCollum, and by his sisters, Kaylee Jo Kackley, Chole Cuillier, and Hattie Flanery; brother-in-law, Jeremy Flanery.

Caleb also leaves behind his grandparents, David Cooper and Snezana McCollum, Mark and Jing McCollum, and Jim and Delores Pierce; aunts, Tonya McCollum, Sarah McCollum, Nicole McCollum, Brandy Phelps, Karen Nunez, and Xiao McCollum; by his uncles, Micah McCollum, Josh McCollum, and Paul Viefhous; by his cousins, Gabriel and Jasmine Moore; by his niece, Reagan Flanery; and by his nephew, Reese Flanery.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Pamala Cooper, and his aunt, Charlene King.

Caleb will be remembered for his humor, his love of computers and animals, his determination, and the way he loved his family. There were so many little things that made Caleb who he was, and those are the things his family will miss and remember most.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 25 at Phillips Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Carey Tricky officiating. Burial will be at Linwood Cemetery following the service.
