Carl Ross Dodds - April 29, 2012 Carl Ross Dodds, 85, passed away April 29, 2012 at St. Bernard Regional Medical Center. He was born January 3, 1927 at Oak Grove, Ark to Ballard and Winnie Dodds. He was an Army veteran of World War II and Vietnam, liked to fish and play bingo and was a member of Brown's Chapel Baptist Church. Preceding him in death were his parents; a daughter, Regina Suprenant; son-in-law, Buzz Robinson, one brother, Lige Dodds and one sister, Martha Mae dodds.He is survived by his wife, Anna Dodds of the home; one daughter, Linda Robinson of California; three step-sons, Denny, Gary and Steven McKay; one sister, Winnie Harper; four grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild and eleven step-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 12-2 PM, Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Phillips Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM with Royce Boling officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Rector. Pallbearers are Charles Noel, Steve McKay, Brad Thomas, Mike Short, Mark Thomas and Bobby McKay.
