Carla Marlene Thompson of Paragould, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. She was born November 3, 1955, in Burton, Michigan. Carla genuinely loved life and she was an all-around good woman. She was a born again Christian and a member of Southside Community Church. Carla was a loving wife, sister, mother, and grandmother.

Carla was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Willie Moore; husband, Guy Thompson; sister, Barb Lewis; and niece, Lisa Moore.

Survivors include her husband, Teddy Joe Vines; son, Jason Thompson (Amanda) of Glasgow, KY; daughters, Rhonda Schank (Karl) of Paragould and Tiffany Carson (Josh) of Paragould; brother, Gary Moore (Jan) of Burton, MI; sister, Marsha Morris of Paragould; brother-in-law, Malcolm Lewis of Paragould; grandchildren, Layla and Jillian Thompson, Lacie Seaverson (Andy Nance), and Tory Jenkins; great-grandchildren, Bryden Seaverson, Ella Seaverson, and Nova Nance; nieces and nephews, Brad Moore (Gabby), Linda Wallace (John), and Melonie Lewis.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 30, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 1, at Phillips Funeral Home with Charles Stoddard officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.
