Carlton Victor Wann passed away peacefully on December 5, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on November 12, 1937, in Shelbyville, Arkansas, Carlton's life was a testament to his unwavering faith, dedication to his loved ones, and commitment to his profession.

After completing his education, Carlton embarked on a distinguished career with the Arkansas State Plant Board, where he dedicated 40 years of exemplary service. His diligence and expertise were instrumental in his professional achievements.

Carlton's devotion to his faith was evident in his active participation at the West View Baptist Church, where he was a longstanding member.  Above all, Carlton was a devoted family man, whose greatest joy was spending time with his loved ones. He was a pillar of strength and support, always ready with a word of encouragement or a helping hand. His love for his family was paralleled only by his passion for the outdoors. An avid hunter, Carlton found joy in the beauty of nature.

Carlton was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Cora Wann, and brothers, Ralph, Van, and Max Wann.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Mary Wann; son, David Wann; daughters, Tammie Gaskill (Mike) and Carla Wilcox (David); and four beloved grandchildren, Andrew Gaskill, Seth Gaskill, Abigail Wilcox, and Anna Grace Wilcox.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 9th, from noon until service time at West View Baptist Church.  The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Marc Reeves officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.
