Carolyn Sue "Cammie Sue" Holt, 63, of Paragould, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022, at St. Bernards Medical Center after a long battle with lung cancer.  She was born November 8, 1958, in Jonesboro, to Thomas and Lucille Hoozer.  Carolyn was a loving, caring, funny person.  She had a great sense of humor.  Caring for others just came naturally for Carolyn.  She greatly enjoyed life.  Carolyn worked many years at Baldwin Piano in Trumann and then 10 years at Frito Lay in Jonesboro until her retirement in May 2015.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry Holt; and nieces, Beth Duncan and Amanda Durbin.

Survivors include her son, Christopher Holt; brother, Tommy Hoozer; sisters, Billie Tillman (Bill), Sheila Simpson, and Reda Lashlee (Kenny Smith); grandchildren, Madison Holt, Alyssa Holt, and John Allen, Jr.; nieces, Kristy Lashlee and Tanya Halfacre; and nephew, Clinton Hoozer.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 30, from 11:00 a.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home.  The funeral service will begin at noon at Phillips Funeral Home with Audie Cox officiating.  Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery.
