Charles William Dunlap, 76, of Paragould, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023. He was born November 18, 1946, to Elza and Javenia Dunlap. Charlie enjoyed watching the stock market every day and loved watching the Cardinals play. He watched the PBS channel a lot and enjoyed English Comedy. Charlie helped build the St. Louis Arch. Above all, he was a Christian and knew Christ as his Savior, and was a member of Ridge City Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Charles Dunlap, II; and sister, Carol Myers.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Donna Dunlap; children, Michele Taylor and her life partner, Travis Rieffer, Robert Dunlap, Adam (Krystal) Dunlap; twelve grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 18, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, April 19, at 1:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Bro. Chris officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.
Travis Rieffer, Adam Dunlap, Robert Dunlap, Kieth Waldrop, Ricky Hendrix, and Jeremiah Curry will serve as pallbearers. Rod Lindley will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
