Charles W Ellis, Sr., 72, of Gainesville, Arkansas, passed peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, February 14, 2023.  He was born January 11, 1951, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, to Cecil and Lila Mae Ellis.  Charles was a woodworker and fabricator.  Sitting on the front porch, he enjoyed the view of his country homestead that brought him much joy.  He raised cattle and rode his 4-wheeler in his pasture.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Margaret Middleton.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Belinda Ellis; son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Dee Dee Ellis; daughter and son-in-law, Jaime and Richie Martin; sister, Virginia Adams; grandchildren, Cody Ellis, David Ellis, Lauren Martin, and Russ Martin; great-grandchildren, Phoenix Ellis, Axel Ellis, and Brooklyn Ellis.

A private burial will be at Gainesville Cemetery.
