Charles "Charlie" Jerome Schunk, Jr., 77, of Paragould, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023.  He was born June 24, 1946, in Bakersfield, California.  Charlie lived 12 years in Rockford, Illinois. Charles graduated Marmaduke High School in 1966, he retired from Martin Sprocket and Gear.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Jerome Schunk, Sr. and mother and step-father, LaVerne and Jesse Taylor.

Charlie is survived by his brothers, Franklin Taylor and wife Miranda of Springdale, AR, LeRon Taylor of Paragould, AR; sister, LaVaudry "Taylor" Wyatt and husband Tony of Marmaduke, AR; nieces and nephews, Lyndsi Sluyter, Krystopher Taylor, Ariel Fielder, Arianna Wayer, Brian Kilpatrick, Bradley Ames-Lovett, Breanna Ames-Lovett; and 12 great-nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Monday, December 18, from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home.  The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Phillips Funeral Home with Tracy Archilbald officiating.  Burial will follow at Wright Cemetery.
