Christie Michele Hudspeth passed away peacefully on January 14, 2024, in Lafe, Arkansas. Born on January 28, 1971, in Camden, Tennessee, Christie's exuberant spirit blessed this world for 52 years.  Christie's passion for nurturing young minds defined her existence. As a dedicated teacher at Marmaduke Preschool, she poured her heart into her work, shaping the lives of countless children with patience, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to their growth.  Her love for the beach and the mountains was a testament to her deep appreciation for the beauty of the natural world. Christie's happiest moments were often found with her toes in the sand, with the country music she adored as her constant soundtrack.  Family was the cornerstone of Christie's world. Her devotion to her loved ones was unwavering.  Christie's role as "grandma" to her granddog, Milo, was one she embraced with enthusiasm.

Christie was preceded in death by her mother, Delores Anderson; grandparents; and son, Bryce Hudspeth.

Survivors include her husband of 19 years, Steve Hudspeth; father, Robert Anderson, Jr.; daughter, Baylee Hudspeth; step-children, Jeremy (Tianna) Hudspeth, Julia Hudspeth, and Casey Reinhardt; and 5 step-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday, January 20, from 10 a.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home.  The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home with David Poe officiating.  Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.
