Christopher Matthew Messer, 22, of Paragould, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021.  He was born May 13, 1998, in Little Rock, to Shan and Michelle Messer.  Christopher graduated in 2016 from Paragould High School.  He was a hard working young man who was loved by everyone.  Christopher was very family oriented. Chris was loved by all who met him, he was very selfless and a very loyal friend to many. For a young man, he had a very old soul.

Christopher was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Messer; grandmother, Paulette Deuink; and aunt, Kimberly O'Conner.

Survivors include his mother, Michelle Messer; father and step mother, Shan and Beth Messer; grandparents, Jerry Messer, Donna Weatherford, and Kimberly Lett; great grandmother, Wanda Messer; sister, Katie Anderson; aunt and uncles, Christy and Scott Shearer, Matthew Nation, Joshua Weatherford, Jason O'Conner, Morgan Bowers, and Brad Messer; and lots of extended family.

Gone for now, but never forgotten.

A memorial service will be Saturday, February 20, from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home.
