Clyde "Bud" Phillips, 78, of Paragould, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at his residence.  He was born, July 10, 1937, in Greene County to Clyde C. and Mamie Phillips.  Clyde attended Bard Free Worship.

Preceding him in death were his parents; infant son, Norman; brother, Bob Phillips; sisters Edna Grimsley, Dorothy Myers, and Sue Bounds.

Survivors include Bud's wife, Pauline Phillips, of the home; sons and daughters in law, Scottie Joe and Carmela Phillips, and James and Sherrie Phillips, all of Paragould; daughter and son in law, Sarah and Robert Grooms, of Paragould; brother, Ray Phillips; sisters, Glenda Bozark and Mary Morrison; and 10 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday, April 1, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be Saturday, April 2, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Kim Bridges officiating.  Burial will follow at Harvey's Chapel Cemetery.
