Dairl Hyde, born on March 30, 1941, left this earthly world for his heavenly home on July 12, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, faith, and community service. Dairl was a man profoundly committed to his Christian faith, and his life was a testimony to the enduring values of love and service.
For thirty-nine years, Dairl served the Arkansas Highway Department with an unwavering work ethic and a spirit of cooperation that made him a beloved colleague. His commitment to his work was matched only by his dedication to his faith as a devout Christian. Dairl was a cherished member of both the Center Hill Church of Christ and Valley View Church of Christ.
A respected 32 degree Mason, Dairl exemplified the Masonic principles of brotherly love, relief, and truth. He approached his Masonic duties with the same fervor and integrity that he did every other aspect of his life, earning him the high regard of his fellow Masons and all who knew him. In his spare time, Dairl enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Dairl was preceded in death by his parents, George Hyde and Rowena Vaughn-Hyde; and wife, Brenda Hyde.
Survivors include his sons, Brad Hyde, Bart Hyde; sisters, Evelyn Boling, Ellen Johnson; and grandchildren, Bailey Hyde and Abbie-Kay Hyde.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 16, from 11:00 a.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Spencer Furby and Brad Hyde officiating. Burial will follow at Finch Cemetery.
Bailey Hyde, Mark Johnson, Archie Johnson, Chester Key, Clarence Barnes, Steve Leath, Danny McDaniel, and Buck Beasley will serve as pallbearers.
