Dallas "Blackie" Franklin Dehart, 85, of Paragould, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2023. He was born September 19, 1937, in the Stanford community to Cullen and Sarah Dehart. Dallas retired from farming in 2017. His favorite past times included woodworking, restoring antique tractors, reading, visiting with his old farming friends, and many outdoor activities including gardening and riding his side-by-side around the farm.

Dallas was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Joe, James, J. D., Chick, Donnie; and sister, Jackie.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years (June 4, 1960), Winoma Dehart of the home; daughters, Debbie (Tony) Rose, Marcia (Kevin) Gillmore, Brenda Copeland, Linda (Kenny) Edgin all of Paragould; sisters, Francis Dacus, Cathy (Clyde Jr.) Rothe; grandchildren, Audra (Brandon) King, Nathan (Stephanie) Stewart, Lindsey (Daron) Merryman, Dallas (Megan) Gillmore, Mandy Hinson, Sarah (Mark) Hawkins, Jordan (Natalie) Stewart, Jarrod Buck, Jeremy (Whitney) Buck, Josh (Savanna) Smith, Andrew (Lindsey) Stewart, Parker (Sara) Edgin; twenty-one great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and eleven step great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 6, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, June 7, at 2:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Art Smith and Evan Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.

Grandsons: Nathan Stewart, Dallas Gillmore, Jordan Stewart, Jarrod Buck, Jeremy Buck, Josh Smith, Andrew Stewart, and Parker Edgin will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include his granddaughters: Audra King, Lindsey Merryman, Mandy Hinson, Sarah Hawkins, and all of Dallas' nephews.
