Danny "Pop" Goad, 67, of Paragould, departed from this life after a long battle with illness on Friday, May 17, 2024. He was born in Poplar Bluff, Mo in 1956, to Dean and Emma Aileen. He was a proud veteran of the Army.

Danny was a loving husband to Pat; and a dad to Heather Wills (Jeff), Jessica Ramer, Justin Ramer (April), and Josh Ramer who dearly miss him and the life lessons he imparted to them.

Pop took great pride in being a grandparent and is greatly missed by his seventeen grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dean and Emma Aileen; and brothers, Jack Goad and Butch Goad. He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and a large extended family and dear friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 20, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Tracy Archibald officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.

Ethan Bowen, Gannon Cornette, Jeff Wills, Paul Wills, Leroy Poore, and Sergio Badillo II will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include Tre Miller, Jackie Ramer, Christian Ramer, Dylan Wills and Evan Bowen.
