Darrel Lee Metz, Jr., 58, of Paragould passed away August 14, 2014. He was born September 17, 1955 in Poplar Bluff, MO to Darrel Metz and Dorothy Hall. Preceding him death were his parents; two sisters, Lura and Mary Ann Metz; and one brother, Charles Metz.He is survived by his loving wife, Angie Metz of the home; one adopted son, Jacob Metz of Mountain Home; one sister, Sherry Metz of Paragould; two brothers, Terry Metz of Marmaduke, AR and Virgil Metz of Jonesboro, AR; three brother-in-laws, Danny Dodd, Jimmy White, and Kenny White; four sister in laws, Freda Dodd, Ramona Metz, Marla Gozell, and Joyce Metz; several nieces and nephews; many friends and his dog, Levi.The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 16 at Phillips Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet for a graveside service at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Brown's Chapel Cemetery. Kim Bridges will be officiating.Serving as pallbearers will be his nephews, Tyler Gozell, Zachary Metz, Kenny Moore, Derrick Metz, Terry Metz, Jr., and Timmy Moslander.
