Dawn Michele Harris passed away peacefully on July 12, 2023, in Covington, Tennessee. She was born on July 23, 1952, in Paragould, Arkansas, to the late Jack and Maudie Morgan.  Dawn retired after 32 years at the U.S. Postal Service.

Dawn was a vibrant, warm-hearted woman who lived life to the fullest. She was known for her love of flowers, which brought her immense joy and brightened the lives of those around her. Her love for shopping was legendary, always on the hunt for a good deal, whether she needed the item or not. Her playful spirit was infectious, bringing smiles to the faces of all who knew her.

Dawn's generosity was a defining trait. She found great joy in giving to others, always eager to share what she had with those in need. Her happiness was amplified when she could buy gifts for her family and friends, a testament to her selfless nature and deep love for those around her.

Dawn was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Maudie Morgan, her half-brothers, Ralph Pierce, Joe Dunivan, John R. "Jack" Dunivant, and Harold Morgan, and her sisters, Wanda Johnson and Eva McClung.

She leaves behind her beloved son, Brent Beasley. Her brothers, Bert and Royce Morgan, her sisters, Ellen Wilcox and Mary Charles, and grandchildren, Joshua and Chase also survive her. They will forever cherish the memories of their dear sister.  Dawn has several nieces and nephews that were dear to her.

The family will receive friends Monday, July 17, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home.  A graveside service under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home will be Tuesday, July 18, at 2:00 p.m.  at Linwood Cemetery.
