Debra Lynne Stokes, 57, passed away May 21, 2011 at her residence in Beech Grove, Arkansas. She was born December 8, 1953 to Wayne and Veona Pruett. She was a devoted member of Center Hill Church of Christ and the music teacher at Crowley's Ridge Academy for 34 years.She was preceded in death by her mother, Veona.Survivors include her husband, Dan Stokes; father, Wayne Pruett of Paragould; one son, Dan Stokes, Jr. of Waco, Texas; two daughters, Danna Ramsey and her husband Jeff of Jonesboro and Dustyn Stokes of Paragould; one brother, Randy Pruett of Little Rock; and three grandchildren, Sophie, Maddie and Eliza Ramsey.The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Sunday, May 22, 2011 at the Phillips Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Crowley's Ridge Academy in Paragould with Gary Cremeens officiating. Burial will follow at Harvey's Chapel Cemetery.The family request memorials be made to Crowley's Ridge Academy or Children's Home, Inc.
