Dennis Michael Strickland, 68, passed away on Wednesday April 22, 2020. He was born January 19, 1952, to Eugene and Roberta Strickland. Dennis worked as a Chief Engineer for 35 years on a Riverboat. He attended Lake Street Baptist Church.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and son, Danny Marvin.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Wilma Strickland; sons and daughter in law, Michael Strickland, Phillip and Michelle Strickland; brothers and sisters in law, Doug Strickland, Dave and Sue Strickland, and Don and Julie Strickland; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home will be held on Saturday, April 25, at 2:00 P.M. at New Friendship Cemetery with Wayne Faulkner officiating.

Bryan Shatley, Charlie Cooper, Jackie Shatley, and Jake Pillow will serve as honorary pallbearers.
