Deronda Faye Gatlin, 72, of Paragould, passed away March 11, 2014 at Greene Acres Nursing Home. She was born August 26, 1941 to the late Harold and Wilma Howard. Mrs. Gatlin enjoyed fishing and playing bingo at the VFW Post 2242.Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Kenneth Gatlin; grandson, Timothy Hilburn; great granddaughter, Elizabeth Everett; brother Noel Howard; sister, Dorothy Jean Howard.Survivors include three sons, Randy, Russell, and Robert Gatlin; daughters and son-in-law, Denise and Jimmie Simpson, Donna Hilburn; six brothers, Jerry, Roger, Harold Dean, Melvin, Kelvin, and Kenneth Howard; 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.The family will receive friends March 14 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. Funeral services will be March 15 at 10:00 a.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with David Stallings officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Home Cemetery.
