Retired Realtor and administrative assistant, Diane Lopez, 75, passed peacefully in her sleep Sunday, Jan 5, 2020 after a long battle with COPD. A resident of Goodman WI, where she was born, Diane also spent some years living in Beloit, WI, Kankakee, IL, and Rockford, IL.

Diane enjoyed playing cards and board games with her family and friends.  Other activities include photography, singing, creating personalized greeting cards, playing computer games, and making people laugh.  She loved telling jokes - even while she was sick. Her infectious laugh and vivacious personality lifted the spirits of friends and family.

Diane was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Engel; husband of 35 years, Michael C. Lopez; sister, Jeannie Pagelow; and grandson, Blake Howerton.

Survivors include her mother, Lucille Nickel of Arizona; daughters, Debbie Dwyer and Audra Howerton and her husband, Lane, all of Paragould; brother, Larry Engel; grandchildren, Kyle Leake and Tabitha Dorn; great-grandchild, Otto Leake; and numerous stepchildren and step grandchildren.

A memorial will be held in Wisconsin at a later date.
