Dillon McKinnis Brown, 14, of Marmaduke passed away December 11, 2001 at Lebonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis Tenn. He was born March 11, 1997 in Paragould to April Brown. He was a Junior Marmaduke Fire Department Captain and a freshman at Marmaduke High School. He loved to duck hunt, fish, go frogging and work with the fire department.Preceding him in death were his grandmother, Gewanda Boggs; grandfather, N.H. Brown and great-grandfather, Henderson Hyde.He is survived by his mother, April Brown; one sister, Emileigh Brown; a half-brother, Eric Brown; grandfather, Pete Boggs; grandmother, Alleen Brown; great-grandmother, Christine Hyde and his brothers at the Marmaduke Fire Department.The family will receive friends 6-9 PM, Thursday December 15, 2011 at Phillips Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Friday, December 16, 2011 in the Center Hill Chapel at Phillips Funeral Home with Chad Wagner officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens. To the family of Dillion, I know not the words to say to ease the pain you are going through. I had the pleasure to meet and know Dillion thru my work as the SRO, I can say our school has suffered a tremendous loss. Dillion was a wonderful young man and impressed many of us here at the school. We will miss him. May you draw upon the strength of God to help you get thru this difficult time.Lt.
