Don Osment - June 14, 2013 Don Osment, 69, passed away June 14, 2013. He was born October 11, 1943 in Weona, Arkansas to Howard and Ruth Osment. Mr. Osment was an ordained Baptist minister, a Navy veteran, liked to watch western movies, mow the grass, play his guitar and sing. He was an employee of Sunrise Distributing.He is survived by his wife, Mae Osment; two sons, Michael Osment of Atlanta, Georgia and Brad (Sarah) Clayton of Benton Arkansas; three daughters, Linda Kay Osment of Paragould, Tammy Gitchel of Atlanta, Georgia and Michelle of Indiana; one sister, Linda Clem; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Don Osment - June 14, 2013 Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, James Howard and Kenneth Osment and one grandson.The family will receive friends 12 - 1:30 PM, Sunday, June 16, 2013 at Phillips Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1:30 PM with Larry Loggins officiating. Burial will be at Willis Cemetery.
