Jarrett Don Turnbow

September 23, 1942 - June 16, 2026

Jarrett Don Turnbow, 83, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at his home in Paragould, AR. He was born September 23, 1942, in Amarillo, TX to James L. and Billie O. (Leonard) Turnbow and raised in Levelland, TX. He attended South Plains Jr. College in South Plains, TX, Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO, and attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX. He retired from Emerson Electric Company and also served as a bi-vocational pastor. Some of his favorite things in life were “his family, good food, the Bible, going to Church, praying, playing guitars, playing the organ at church, writing songs, and fishing.”

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Ted Turnbow, Jay Turnbow, and Lynn Turnbow; his first wife Billie (Deadmon) his second wife Jane Ann (Hughes), and son Ronnie Reeves.

He is survived by his daughters Adina Turnbow Laird (Scott) and Andrea Reeves Smith (Mark); sons Tim Turnbow, Randy Reeves (Darlene), Robin Reeves (Leslie); daughter-in-law Marianna Walden Reeves; and an extended family of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
