Donald Rene Dodson, Sr., 56, of Paragould, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021.  He was born October 4, 1964, in St. Petersburg, Florida, to G.W. and Shirley Dodson.  Donald loved the outdoors.  He had a very comical personality, always trying to put a smile on everyone's face.  Donald will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, G.W. Dodson and Shirley Keeling; grandparents, James and Mary Bailey, Albert and Nancy Dodson; brothers, Duane Keeling and Danny Dodson; and uncle, David Bailey.

Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Sherry Dodson; children, Donald Dodson, Jr. and Keeli Shay Dodson; step-children, Joey Wood and Patricia Joiner; siblings, Gerald Bailey, Michael Dodson, David Keeling, Jimmy Dodson, Christal Keeling, Donna Dodson Sosa, Debbie Brockman, and Gene Dodson; grandchildren, Blayden Joiner, Olivia Joiner, Riley Wood, and Xander Wood; uncles, Dan Bailey and Jimmy Bailey; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service with David Stallings officiating will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, March 6, at Oak Grove Baptist Church.  A dinner will be provided after the service.  The arrangements are in care of Phillips Funeral Home.
