Donald Bryon Russell, 82, of Paragould, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023.  He was born October 21, 1940, in Corinth, Mississippi, to Robert Lee and Willie Estelle (Kemp) Russell.  Donald enjoyed fishing, gardening, and hobby farming.  He was friendly and loved everyone he met.  Donald faithfully served as a deacon at Brown's Chapel Baptist Church.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Grace Wicks and Lu Bryan; and brothers, Jim Russell, Robert Russell, and Bill Russell.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Bobbie Russell; son, Donnie (Brenda) Russell; daughter, Margaret Russell; sister, Jo An Foroupoulas; granddaughters, Cassie (Chris) Johnson and Taylour (Sebastian) Brown; great granddaughters, Maddie and Emma Brown; great grandson, Clay Henry Johnson; and multiple nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 21, from noon until service time at Brown's Chapel Baptist Church.  The funeral service under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home will begin at 1:00 p.m. at Brown's Chapel Baptist Church.  Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.

Joe Ed Smith, Joe Lane, Marty Harris, Jim Bradley, David Irvin, and Greg Adams will serve as pallbearers.  The deacons of Brown's Chapel Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.
