Donald Ray Shatley, 65, of Paragould, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018. He was born to Donald and Wanda Shatley on November 14, 1952. Donald worked at Emerson until retiring after 37 years. He enjoyed catching fish and frogs in St. Francis river.

Donald was preceded in death by his father, Donald Shatley Sr. and his wife of 33 years, Rosa Lee Shatley; brother, Darrell Shatley; and sisters, Lenae Vanhorn and Renee Goodman.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Wanda and Bob Cole; daughter, Christy Schlipf of Paragould; grandchildren, Zachary Greenway and Preston Collins; and great-grandchild, Charlotte Greenway.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, from 1 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Hubert Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Brown's Chapel Cemetery.
