Donna Jean Burke, 83 of Paragould passed away Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. She was born May 6, 1931 to the late George and Anna Cook at Chicago, IL. Donna was a member of Southside Community Church and a member of the Red Hat Society. She loved cooking and adored her little dog, Angel. Angel was her companion and joy of her life.Preceding her in death were her parents; twelve of her siblings; daughter, Barbara Jean Burke; and great granddaughter, Rebecca.Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Thomas and Natalie Burke of Paragould; two daughters, Linda Griffith and her husband, Scott, of Fountain Hills, AZ and Maureen Franzen of Yorkville, IL; nine grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.The family will receive friends 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Phillips Funeral Home. The service will follow at 4:30p.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Charles Stoddard officiating.The family request lasting memorials made to the American Heart Association, Diabetes Association, or the American Lung Association.
