Doris Ann Brown, 90, of Paragould, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at her sister's residence.  She was born August 15, 1934, in Walcott.  Doris retired from AT&T in Illinois.  Being outdoors and gardening were two of Doris' passions.  She was a loving wife, step-mother, and sister.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, James and Etoil Hooper; husband, Robert Brown; brothers, Charles Hooper and Johnny Hooper; sisters, Priscilla Angotti, Mary Jo Ward, and Shirley Jane Stanfill; and step-daughters, Barbara Joan Wood and Audrey Canup.

Survivors include her brothers, Wallace Hooper of Arbyrd, and Paul Hooper of Little Rock; sisters, Alice Bishop of Paragould, Rose Johnson of Little Rock, and Pam Roy of Paragould; step-sons, Dale Brown and Ed Brown both of Walcott; 5 step-grandsons and 3 step-granddaughters.

A family graveside service under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 25, at Mt. Zion Cemetery with Don Slatton officiating.
