Dorothy Ashby, 84, of Paragould, passed away March 17, 2014 at her home. She was born December 25, 1929 in Knobel, Arkansas to the late Ira and Rosa Luttrell. Married to J.T. Ashby September 18, 1946, she was a faithful member of Center Hill Church of Christ in Paragould.Preceding her in death were her parents and a son, Bruce Ashby. Survivors include her husband, J.T. Ashby; son and daughter in law, Tim and Judy Ashby of Paragould; daughters and sons in law, Lynnette and Rick Watson of Paragould, Karen and Jeff Thoele of St. Louis, Missouri; one sister, Irlene Quick; grandchildren, Jeremy and Ashley Watson, Chris Watson, Jace Watson, Cody Ashby, Erika and Timmy Conway, Joni Hill, and Bruce Thoele; great grandchildren, Bailee and Chloe Watson. .The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 20 at 10:00 a.m. at Center Hill Church of Christ with Michael Meredith and Jon Binkley officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.
