Dorothy May Ivie - January 25, 2013 Dorothy May Ivie, of Paragould, passed away Friday, January 25, 2013 at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center. She was born in Black Oak, Arkansas on June 5, 1929 to the late Jake Alvie and Dora Della Bryant. Mrs. Ivie was of the Baptist faith.Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Jesse Ivie; one son, Kenneth Ivie; one grandson, Brandon Nix; one great grandson, Kelly Ray Nix; four brothers, Vernon, Malichi, Morris, and Orby Bryant Her survivors include her son, Floyd Ivie; son and daughter-in-law, Jesse Carl and Lisa Ivie; two daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Clarence Wikerson and Kathy Folkes and Dennis Duckworth; twelve grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.The family will receive friends Sunday, January 27, 2013 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Heath Vines officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery.Matthew Flanery, Tyler Ivie, Clarence Wikerson, Dennis Duckworth, Chris Wynn, and Bradley Ivie will serve as Pallbearers. Jerry Cook will serve as Honorary Pallbearer.
