Earl Edward Songer, 83 of Paragould passed away January 15, 2012 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. He was born November 11, 1928 in Fontaine to Willy and Minnie Songer.  He liked NASCAR racing, stock car racing, auctions and spending time with his grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Laverne Songer and one sister, Earline Moore. He is survived by one son, Kevin Hancock; a brother, Junior Songer of St. Louis, ILL.; one sister, Glenda Miller of Salem, Ark.; three grandchildren, Shana Bradey, Kein Hancock and Kevin Hancock, Jr.; one great-grandchild, Timothy Bradey. The family will receive friends 10:00 AM until noon, Friday, January 20, 2012 at Phillips Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at1:00 PM at Lorado Cemetery with Danny Murphy officiating.
