Earl Daniel (Dan) White, 82 of Mountain View, Arkansas formerly of Evening Star, Arkansas passed from this world on March 27, 2014. He was born August 4, 1931 at O'Kean to Walter and Parliee White. He liked to hunt deer and turkey, go fishing and play games with his grandkids. He was a member of School Street Church of Christ in Mountain View.Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife of 35 years, Lavon White; one brother, Charlie White; two sisters, Vivian Billingsley and Geneva Saffell; one grandson, Michael Burns and one great-grandson, Colin Burns.He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Vanda Burns White of Mountain View; three daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Bill Rawls, Sharon and Terry Smith all of Paragould and Susie and Lonnie Burrow of Little Rock; one son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Judy Burns of Little Rock; two brothers, Toby and Brooks White; one sister, Lovey Archer; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; many dear friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends 6-9 Pm, Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Phillips Funeral Home. A Celebration of his life will be 2 PM, Sunday, March 30, 2014 in the Center Hill Chapel at Phillips Funeral Home with Finis Brewer officiating. Burial will be at Jones Ridge Cemetery at Delaplaine. Pallbearers will be Joey White, Jerry Billingsley, Terry Smith, Stanley White, Keith Hall and Kenneth White. Honorary pallbearers are Carol Rice, Dallas Dehart, Larry Saffell, Austin White, Jerry Russom and Greg Vines.
