Edith Esther Jackson, 101, of Paragould passed away September 14, 2012 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. She was born March 1, 1911 in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas to the late Louis and Effie Williams. She enjoyed knitting and crossword puzzles and loved reading and making apple pie for family gatherings. She was a member of the Center Hill Church of Christ.Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Ralph M. Jackson; five brothers; three sisters.Mrs. Jackson's survivors include three daughters and sons-in-laws, Shirley (Max) Redwine, Betty (Leo) Yearry, Carolyn (Larrell) Austin; one son and daughter-in-law, Ray (Wanda) Jackson, all of Paragould; one sister, Imogene Rister, of Albuquerque, New Mexico;11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.Funeral Services will be at 12:00 noon Monday, September 17 at Phillips Funeral Home with Larry McFadden officiating. The family will receive guests from 10:00a.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Linwood Cemetery.Her grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.
