Edward Arnold Jaques, 63, of Brookland, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. He was born March 14, 1958, to Arnold and Pauline Jaques. Edward enjoyed fishing and cooking. He had a love for animals, especially for dogs, and arrowhead hunting. He ran the Walnut Ridge Animal Shelter and loved to spend time with his family. Eddie was a Veteran that served in the National Guard and Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Pauline Jaques; and brothers, Paul Jaques and William Jaques.

Survivors include his sons, Jeremy (Tina) Jaques, Shane (Nicholl) Jaques; daughter, Savanah Martin; brothers, Bill Jaques, Terry Jaques; sisters, Carolyn Sanders, Barbara Hailey, Brenda Mathis, Thelma Littrell, and JoAnn Cord; and grandchildren, Dylan Jaques, Dalton Jaques, Xander Boling, Kynnedy Martin, and Raquel Martin.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
