Edwin E. Brauker of Paragould, AR, passed away June 14, 2017, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR. Ed was born July 28, 1934, in Battle Creek, Michigan, to the late John J. Brauker and Ruth Hutchins Brauker. Ed grew up in rural Union City, Michigan. He graduated from Union City High School in 1952 then attended Coyne School of Electronics in Chicago. He enlisted in the U.S. Marines serving as a sergeant in Korea. Ed worked for the L.A. Darling Company for 42 years and was Plant Manager when he retired in 1995.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Eric Brauker; a sister, Marilyn Kellogg; and a brother, Marlin Brauker.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Judy Lamberson Brauker, of the home; a son, Franklin (April) Brauker, of Jonesboro; two granddaughters, Christina (Calvin) Newman, of Jonesboro, and Autumn Brauker, of Jonesboro; a great grandson, Kaleb Newman, of Jonesboro; a sister, Joyce (Joe) Hoffdahl, of Olivet, Michigan; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be a graveside service Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Greene County Memorial Gardens.

The family request that lasting memorials be made to Flo and Phil Hospice House or a charity of choice.
