Ella Mae Wilkins, beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother, passed peacefully into her eternal home on February 27, 2025. While we here on earth feel the weight of her absence, we know she's now restored and dancing on the streets of gold with the loved ones who have gone before her.
Ella was a devoted Christian and loving family woman. She was a member of Paragould Church of God, where her passion for guiding and uplifting children in their faith was evident during her many years as director of Kids Church.
She leaves behind a family who loved her dearly. Ella is survived by her husband of 65 years, Wayne Wilkins; her children, David Wilkins, Lori Wilkins, and Rebecca (Dale) Mitchell; her grandchildren Amanda (Jason) Short, Leann (Scott) Berry, Teddi (Dustin) Nicholson; her great-grandchildren, Drew, Casen, Braxton Berry, Brendan, and Carson Short; her brother Jerry (Brenda) Stone; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
Ella is preceded in death by her parents, Ceral and Veona stone; her grandson, Andrew Mitchell; her brother, Rev. Joe David Stone and sister, Virginia Vincent.
Dale Mitchell, Scott Berry, Dustin Nicholson, Drew Berry, Casen Berry, and Randy Alvord will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 1, at 11:00 a.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Phillips Funeral Home on Saturday, March 1, at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Cheryl Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Greene County Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family invites all who knew Ella to join them in honoring her life. Ella's life was a testament to the love of Christ, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
