Ellen Sue Varner, 75, of Delaplaine, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at home. Ellen was born on March 24, 1950.

Ellen was preceded in death by her loving husband, Hulen Varner; mother, Mildred Marie (Jetton) Bryant; father, Malichi Bryant.

She is survived by her sons, Rickey Varner (Laurie), Terry Varner (Marcie) of Delaplaine; grandsons and granddaughter, Cody Varner (Audrey), Cory Varner (Brianna), Craig Varner, Dillon Varner, Ayden Varner, Michael Spink (Elizabeth), Zachary Spink (Amy), and Jessica Roberts (Brad); twelve great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Ronnie Bryant (Debbie), Leland Bryant (Janet), Keith Bryant (Pam), Milton Bryant (Michelle), Laura Loveall, Brenda Walker; dear friends, Sherry Butz and Jean Parrish; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 16, at Jones Ridge Cemetery with Don Slatton officiating.
