Ellen Wilcox passed away peacefully on December 28, 2023, at the age of 82 in Paragould, Arkansas. She was born on October 28, 1941, to the late Jack and Maudie Morgan.  She enjoyed painting and crocheting. Ellen's playful spirit shone brightly during game nights.  Ellen cherished spending time at the Sr. Bee's, where she was not just a regular but a cherished member of the community.  A faithful member of the East Side Baptist Church, Ellen's devotion was a guiding force throughout her life.  Ellen's love for her family was her crowning glory. She nurtured and supported them, imparting wisdom and kindness that will resonate through generations.

Ellen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lonnie Wilcox; sons, Joe Bryan and Charlie Barrow; several brothers and sisters; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

Survivors include her sons, Bert Bryan and Victor Bryan (Earla); daughter, Melissa Barrow; brothers, Bert Morgan and Royce Morgan (Hillary); sister, Mary Charles; grandchildren, Nick Henson (Erin), Timothy Bryan, Johnathan Bryan, Ashley Smith, Michael Bryan, and Brandon Bryan; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 2, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home.  The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Linwood Cemetery.
